Meanwhile in a parallel universe...
I caught up with my closets friends tonight, we had drinks and talked and had a good time.
We all meet up at Gilligans, the cocktail bar above the Oxford Hotel at Taylor Square. Now, I know my friends well enough to know that inviting them to a popular cocktail bar would not be very well accepted (unless it was their idea to catch up *shrugs*). So I did my research, I went in a week before hand to see what the place was like on a Wednesday evening, and found that is was almost dead, four, maybe five people in the place, no music playing at all. It was perfect for my friends.
The lighting is dark, the sofas are comfy and the drinks where 2-for-1. So everyone really liked it. They had all said it was a good idea, and were really impressed at how well it all worked out.
I made a point of getting several rounds of drinks for everyone, a small part of pay back for all the support my friends had given me over the last few months when my finical situation had not been as good.
Twelve hours a day is ENOUGH!!!
I get up at 6... and then get ready for work, i count that as work time. I go to work, work for ever, with almost no breaks at all (about 30 mins for lunch... at my desk). And then at 6 I'm still here. Add to that the amount of time I've spent dreaming about work lately and there really aren't paying me enough.

Work? On a Saturday? Are you mad?
Grrr, working on a Saturday is evil. Evil I say!!!
Okay, sure so this just happens to be the first time ever I have had to work on a Saturday. But still. Balmain is happening outside, lots of cute guys and gals walking up and down the street in designer three quarter lenght jeans and designer tanktops, all having a good time and not working. And then here I am, in a collared shirt and with a tie on, having to smile and dispense information to the ignorant.
Actually its been good, more cruisy than the weekdays.
So, yeah, incase I forgot to tell you, I got me a job. I'm now working for Next Byte as a salesman in Balmain. Who'd have thought, me a salesman? Just don't go getting any ideas about this changing me or nothing.
Man I need a real job.
